OnTrackNY knows that families of participants, including chosen family, play an important role in recovery.

Find out about the range of ways you can get involved in our community.

Join the Family Advisory Council

Families of OnTrackNY participants and graduates have an important perspective and are encouraged to join the Family Advisory Council. The Council meets on a monthly basis to provide input and guidance on various ongoing projects to help improve our services and make OnTrackNY teams more successful. Family Advisory Council members are compensated for their time.

Interested in learning more about the council? Email familyco@nyspi.columbia.edu.

Being a part of the OnTrackNY Family Council has allowed me to meet and learn from other parents and family members who have been through similar experiences.  It has been a meaningful and rewarding way to share my own experiences and perspectives as a way to give back to the community.

-Joan Parent of OnTrackNY participant & OnTrackNY Family Council Ambassador
